This is a place where the community gardeners can post questions and get answers from Master Gardeners or Extension personnel.
It can also be used to post photos, meeting notices, or just keep up with what everyone else is doing.
We're tentatively planning on rolling this out on July 29. Keep watching here for updates!

My green bean leaves are getting ate up by bugs. I know I can't use Seven. Is there anything I can use?

I'm wondering why "tater777" can't use Sevin?
I sprayed my beans with "GardenTech Sevin concentrate bug killer" and had good results. The specific directions for beans are, repeat application as necessary up to a total of 4 times but not more than once every 7 days. Do not apply within 3 days of harvest of fresh beans or 21 days of harvest of dried beans.
